SMALL BUSINESS STORYTELLING

Small businesses are built on more than products and services—they’re built on people, history, craft, family, and purpose. I’m drawn to the stories behind the work: the hands that make it, the people who keep it going, and the reasons they chose to build something of their own.

Through cinematic film, photography, and thoughtful visual storytelling, I bring those stories to life—creating work that helps audiences connect with a business beyond the product and see the heart behind what makes it worth remembering.

The Mercantile in Chatom, Alabama is one example. I created this short founder’s film to tell the story of Tracy Dees, the restoration of a 102-year-old historic building, and the vision behind the restaurant and gathering place she created. Through Tracy’s story, archival imagery, and footage of the people, food, and space, I wanted to capture not just what The Mercantile looks like—but why it exists.

I create custom creative packages for small businesses, restaurants, makers, founders, and local organizations, with options that can include cinematic brand films, professional photography, social media assets, website development, and visual content libraries built for long-term marketing.

Every business has different needs, so every project can be built around your story, goals, and budget.

This is the work I love: helping people see the story behind the business—and giving that story a life beyond the walls of the place itself.
