THE MERCANTILE

The Mercantile — Chatom, Alabama

For The Mercantile, I set out to document more than a restaurant. Housed inside a 102-year-old historic building, The Mercantile is a place where Chatom’s history, food, and community come together. I created a visual story that captures the character of the building, the people behind it, the food coming out of the kitchen, and the experience of gathering around the table.

The project included 50+ photographs, a cinematic founder film, and a visual library created to support The Mercantile’s website, social media, and future marketing.
